Chef Nicolas Pierantoni grew up in La Celle and loves his region and its products.

Committed to local sourcing and an environmentally responsible approach that he instils in his teams, Nicolas proposes seasonal cuisine working with market gardeners and farmers who he speaks to daily.

The menu is flexible, guided by what is fresh and available, coupled with the creativity and experience of the chef and his teams.

The vegetable garden and orchard at Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de La Celle

"From garden to plate" is the chef's philosophy on how to cook and even how to live life.

Every morning, he encourages his teams to start their day by visiting the vegetable garden, to see what is in season. The resident gardener picks the fruit and vegetables and delivers them to the kitchen.

Divided into three levels, the vegetable garden offers aromatic herbs, courgettes and tomatoes, according to the season.

The orchard offers ideas for desserts using cherries, sour cherries or persimmons as inspiration...

Wine list

Validated by Gérard Margeon, Head Sommelier at Maison Ducasse Paris, the wine menu features fine wines from the region's estates. With the Maison des Vins Coteaux Varois en Provence as its neighbour, nestled in a conservatory of 88 grape varieties, the gastronomic restaurant has deliberately chosen to serve wines produced by Provence winegrowers as part of its locally-sourced approach. From surprising rare gems to more classic vintages, the wine list embraces novelty and draws on safe bets to pair with the chef's fresh, inspired cuisine, adding a touch of the sublime and indulgent taste sensations.

•    The gastronomic restaurant at Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de La Celle welcomes you from 12pm to 1pm and from 7.30pm to 9pm.
•    Open on Thursday to Monday from October to May; open every day from June to September.
•    Closed every year from January to mid-February.
•    Correct attire required
•    Our animals are not accepted in the restaurant.
